Our 2018 Rosé of Syrah is bright and crisp…like drinking the first bite of a ripe apple. This is a textured rose that’s light and delicate yet incredibly rewarding. Notes of strawberry, peach, and fresh rose garden will have you dreaming of the Mediterranean or that perfect summers day. Its acids are in good balance and at 10.6% alcohol it’s like it was meant to be enjoyed at lunch, with a follow up glass to keep the first one company. Deliciously fruity but dry, sometimes its hard to believe that the rosé is made from the same vineyards as our delightfully dark and complex Syrah. What a difference a couple weeks makes (for the must to be in contact with the skins during fermentation)
This wine was harvested August 22 to 24, 2018, and went straight from the vineyard into the press, and from the press into barrels where it went through fermentation. Light and perky like rosé often is, it’s also hearty enough to be enjoyed with a wide spectrum of cuisine.
